After giving birth to my two babies, I was amazed by what I had been through and was intrigued to know what those
who were with me thought of the whole labour. I wanted to know everything that had happened, everything I did, as
all I knew was what I had felt shadowed by a cloud of pain. There was so many fine details I wanted to know from
anothers perspective.
I realised how we all photograph the glowing mum to be with the ripe round belly and then nothing until the new
little baby has arrived and gets cuddles from Mum, Dad, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. That's when I thought why
don't we document the birth process. The biggest day of a parents life, is the day when our baby enters the world.
We should be able to experience the joy, emotion and love every day for the rest of our lives.
I began documenting the labour of love and capturing a complete story of the magic of birth. The Mother, the Father
and how it all unfolds. It's not the gory details, it's all about being a fly on the wall just clicking away and
capturing the experience. The look between Mother and Father when they first see that baby is priceless.
Come and chat with me and I can show you just how special this day really looks.
