A gorgeous couple. Simply beautiful people.

Katey & Grant had a beautiful wedding day. Perfect weather, perfect guests, perfect bridal party. Everything flowed super smoothly for the big day and nothing phased either of them. Katey & Grant shared the big day with their gorgeous daughter and she stole my heart with her posing and ‘home and away’ moments, something I will never forget.

A beautiful ceremony at a gorgeous little church at Hannam Vale followed by locations I picked that really suited the Katey & Grant, then a perfect reception at the Winning Post Function Centre. It all went so easily. The ideal day.

Thanks for being so beautiful Katey & Grant. I loved shooting your wedding and loved picking out the locations. The results are exactly what I wanted and I just know you guys will be very impressed. Congratulations !

Below is Katey and Grant’s guest book that we made up using  their engagement shoot images. Katey hadn’t seen the finished product until I arrived on the wedding day and she loved it. I was extremely impressed with the finished product and another copy is arriving at the studio soon.

What a way to treasure the wedding guest book.

And last of all a special photo that really captured the day. My second shooter Tanya captured this moment while I was shooting from another angle and I just love this shot and the way it tells the story of the whole day.

Louise & Adam chose their hometown of Coopernook to be married. They planned a ceremony and reception that totally suited them - casual, hassle-free and relaxed. With their closest family and friends with them, they celebrated the beginning of their lives together as husband and wife and also the impending birth of their first child. It’s not long to go now until the little bundle will be here to meet everyone!

Congratulations Louise & Adam.

They live in the U.S but when Aimee began to plan her wedding, it was a quiet little place in NSW Australia where she wanted to be married. When I asked Daniel on Saturday why they chose Seal Rocks, he said cause Aimee wanted to. That is the type of guy he is. He is so in love with Aimee that every wish is fulfilled for her.

Aimee and Daniel brought out to Australia the family and friends that were the closest. Everyone was so excited to see them tie the knot. I knew that it was going to be a brilliant day when I first saw Aimee. We had only ever corresponded via email but I knew who she was as soon as I saw the bright grin and the way she danced down the road towards the ceremony.

Aimee was determined to have a great wedding, and she got every wish. Congrats guys. It really was an amazing ceremony. I know already you to are destined to be together forever.

I know that Lee will have been patiently waiting on these, especially since I gave her a taste the other day.

There was something special when I received an email saying, “This is a very private ceremony with no guests.. just 2 witness,us & our 4 children”

I just knew this wedding would be something very unique and focused on true love. Lee and I corresponded all through email, sending her sample pics of different locations and deciding what place would sum up them in their pics. I didn’t get to meet Lee until 5 minutes before she walked down the aisle but as soon as I did I instantly felt relaxed and comfortable. She is extremely down to earth, a loving Mum and the type of wedding she had planned seemed to sum them up perfectly.

The look of love on Dave’s face when she walked down the aisle was pure amazement and joy. He felt like the luckiest man alive. I could tell they have been made for each other, as their personality gels so well. It is also tear-jerking when a man struggles to get through his vows. There is just that moment when you struggle to stay composed and you really know that this wedding is all about the right things, just two people who adore each other.

Thank you Lee & Dave for sharing your wedding with us. It was an absolute pleasure.

I am still alive !!!!

I know a lot of people have been wondering where I have gone and the answer is glued to the computer. I am completely, utterly run off my feet. There isn’t many spare moments in the day and consequently the blog has suffered. I ensure that everyone will appear and it will start happening soon. I have got more proofings to do with people than hours in the day and therefore have had to extend my order deadline for certain shoots.

This week Christmas has arrived ! We have set the studio ready for our Christmas photos and I am so excited. I have three spots left on the Thursday if anyone wants to still book in for the Christmas photos. I had someone arrive at the studio wanting to book a shoot and I hate doing it but I cannot fit anything else in. The rest of 2009 is completely booked. Every minute I have something going on right up until 5pm 23rd Dec when we close for a break. Cannot tell you how excited I am to spend some time with my kids so they learn what I look like again.

Last Saturday Jason and Greg went and photographed Brooke and Daniel’s wedding. They had a great time and took some amazing shots!

The ceremony was held at Wallabi Point headland with the wonderful Roxanne Ruprecht. She is an amazing celebrant who had a beautifully written ceremony combining the marriage of Brooke and Daniel with the naming of their daughter. What a beautiful way to personalise the ceremony.

Enjoy the sneak peek everyone. Just about to dash off for a wedding. What a beautiful day !

Another new sneak peek of a wedding we photographed last week. This lovely couple fled the big Sydney smoke to celebrate their love at the Green Cathedral. A really popular wedding ceremony venue, the Green Cathedral attracts a lot of Sydneysiders who fall in love with undescribable magic environment.

These two lovable people just wanted to keep things simple. A simple ceremony, a simple wedding. They chose to have no bridal party and just had a very special niece walk down the aisle with them. A party atmosphere was what surrounded this wedding and it reflected the love these two share. They didn’t need to have the full production, just kept it casual but yet so romantic.
