Busy just doesn’t describe my workload at the moment. Chaotic, hectic, insane sound much closer to the mark.
Today I have photographed the Koolest Kid in the Manning, a 3 year old and 3 week old, a 4mth old, spoke to a future bride and edited 2 photo shoots. Now as I sit here to blog, I am pigging out on the mega block of chocolate my darling husband bought for me last night (sucking up for potentially more chocolate) and having my caffeine hit of the day. I do have training tonight with my personal trainer but thank god I think he is to busy to read my blog so I should be safe !!
3 things on my mind:
1. Wedding season officially starts in a week and a bit. That excites me more than scares me. I am so totally into my style with weddings at the moment and I am loving it. We often have a reflection over winter and find direction. What do I want my photos to look like? What is my style? Does it say enough about me? Does it capture the things I want to say? Do they have that wow factor I am looking for? I have just finished Kylie & Matthew’s wedding from a couple of weekends ago and I LOVE them. I am loving my wedding photography mojo at the moment and am excited for all the weddings that lie ahead.
2. Christmas. Yes it does seem a bit early to start talking the C word but I am planning my Christmas specials for this year.
3. Diet Coke and chocolate. Ok, this is only here as that is what is in my hand at the moment. So totally satisfying. I have to add my cravings drive Jase insane. Yes I am eating chocolate and drinking Diet Coke. To me that is totally normal. I am the type to go to maccas and order a meal with a diet coke. I just like it, it is one thing he has to live with despite how much it irritates him.
So maybe I shouldn’t write blog posts of an afternoon when my caffeine levels are low. But hey, I was going to write this blog post all day.
So this afternoon, I decided I need to get more pics on this blog. I have carried these images to work and back with me and never had a chance to blog until now.
This is Scarlett. Scarlett is 12 months old !! She has turned the big milestone into toddlerhood. She is super cute, super adorable, super photogenic and loved very very much. Just check out how adorable she is. All things sugar and spice ….

I love listening to the speeches. It is when we really get to hear how the bride and groom met. All the fine details are told and usually there is someone taking credit for setting the two up.
During the speeches we found out that Matthew and Kylie both lived in Taree at the same time yet ventured further afield to find the night life. It was during of the night adventures in Forster that Matt and Kylie were introduced to each other and as they say, the rest is history.
This is a couple that are perfectly matched. We have only had the pleasure of knowing them as they planned their wedding day but from those few brief encounters, Jason and I could both see one very content couple. Their wedding day was perfect. It suited them, it showed their love and everyone had a grin from ear to ear as they thoroughly enjoyed the day.
I love Kylies attention to detail. I love her planning. I love her researching. She had a perfect red love heart balloon in the car with them and I almost squealed with delight when I found out she wanted to use it in their photos. She had seen one used before on the internet. The balloon photos are totally my style. My idol photographers use props like these in their photos and I have been hoping someone would totally get the idea and want that style for themselves. Thank you so much Kylie for letting me capture such perfect shots. xo

I am super excited so I have to share with you straight away. IT’S A GIRL !!!!!!!
Blog followers will know that I have been sharing in Skii and Jacob’s experience of bringing their little bundle into the world. You will remember her pregnancy post (if you want a refresher click here), now I have an update that the surprise package was indeed a little girl.
This little one already has a schedule of her own and she arrived fashionably late, exactly 2 weeks overdue. On Friday Skii let me know they were inducing her and I had my fingers crossed extra tight that she either came quickly or held off as yesterday we photographed the wedding of Matthew and Kylie. Throughout their magical wedding day I had my phone close to see how things were going. Just before the bridal waltz I had the call that bub was almost here and a wonderful Kylie told me to hurry quickly, I didn’t realise she had been following Skii’s journey as well !!
So while Jason finished photographing their formalities I made the entrance to the hospital and exactly 18 minutes later little Bella Rose arrived to the world. I absolutely love this facet of my job. It is not work at all, it is amazing, it is breath taking and it is emotional every single time. I know birth photography is not for everyone and when I mention I do it I get a very mixed reaction, this however is why I love it. These images are priceless.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart Skii & Jacob for allowing me to document Bella’s arrival to the world. You are both amazing parents already and she is unbelievably gorgeous. For the blog followers there will be an interview with Skii to come telling you her side of the story but that will come in due time. Right now this new family are basking in pure joy.

It is the last month of winter which means the last month of year that we have our “down time”.
Before the wedding season hits, (and it is going to be with a full forced punch this year), we are running a major, massive, super ginormous (like my word of the day?) special.
We have never run a special like this and it won’t happen again for a loooong time.
Have your family or baby photos taken between the 16th - 31st August and you can receive our high res disk only special with your files for only $200.
All photo shoots taken with this special will have the disk included and there is no obligation to buy anything else. Our files are full high res files that we send for printing and you have the rights to print them at home or a local processing centre.
A perfect time to have your photos done now so you have gifts for Fathers Day, be super organised with Christmas presents or just to update the album and walls.
This is strictly for the month of August and will not be extended. So call the studio on 65515080 or email info@imprintimaging.com.au to make your booking.

Please note: This is for our Taree studio only and doesn’t include newborn shoots, year in the life or weddings.

Another newborn to cluck over.
Isabella is just gorgeous !! She loves cuddles, she loves to be talked to, she loves to wrap you around her finger I think. She is so cute she is irresistable. I photographed her Mummy and Daddy’s wedding and that makes documenting their new family that little bit extra special.
Isabella gave us the perfect photo shoot. She had just the perfect amount of awake, wide eyed grin time combined with a dreamy sleep stage when we got the super cute poses. The poses were a big bonus because it is virtually impossible for a 7 week old to let me move them around so much when they are asleep. A bit of baby whispering was all it took
. My favourites are the ones on Dad’s back. She snuggled in and was perfectly content, I think she would have stayed there all day if she could.

We have one of the best jobs in the world. We get to document of the most important days of a persons life. All the dreaming, planning and creating comes together on one day. It all has to be perfect. So many hours have been spent making every last detail a work of art and we get to document it all. It is a huge responsibility to document a wedding, something that is not taken lightly by any means. It is an honour to be invited into someones special day and each wedding still gives me goosebumps at some point.
Lori & Rhys had the most perfect wedding day. They both repeatedly told us how much fun their wedding day was, how relaxed and carefree their photos were. They wanted to document their day and their love of course, but they also wanted to enjoy every moment and have time to relax with family and friends. That was our brief and that was what we delivered. We worked quick but precise. We had fun and documented memories. We created art but ensured the bride and groom weren’t infront of the camera the whole time.
It was an amazing wedding. St Marys is stunning, such a beautiful church. I have found my next must visit and that is the Silo Restaurant & Lounge. As soon as I saw the red wall, I got why Lori & Rhys loved it. The food was impeccable, the perfect place for a long dinner with friends.
The reception was at Longworth House. It is the perfect reception venue. The service was second to none, the food was incredible but my favourite feature was the building itself. Every room has character. I loved the way the reception was designed. All formalities were conducted upstairs. The meals were served, the cake was cut, the speeches were made, and once the dancing was ready to begin, everyone ventured downstairs to dance the night away with the band while sampling all the amazing treats on the lolly bar. It was the perfect arrangement.
Lori & Rhys, every detail of your wedding was amazing. The way your planning came together is so admiring. You have both created the perfect wedding day and I know you loved every minute. I hope you are enjoying an amazing honeymoon, you deserve all the happiness in the world. xo
