Imprint Imaging Birth: Oliver William

He ever so gently stroked her hair as the water ran down her back. He was wet, wringing wet, but he didn’t care. He knew he had to be there for her, to help ease her pain, to make it as easy as he possibly could. He asked her if she needed water and with a simple ssshhh …. he knew the answer was no. She was in her zone and she was doing incredibly.

At 11.05pm, a baby boy made his first appearance into the world. The first image of him is etched in my mind forever and it was pure magic. He had plump lips, his eyes were squeezed tightly shut and he just sat and waited for the final moment he would enter the world. He made his first cries within seconds and the noise was the most perfect noise in the world. The cry that every mother and father waits to hear, anxiously awaits to hear. That cry that says I am here, I am ok and I am now your son. It makes a tear roll down my cheeks every single time.

Welcome to the world little Oliver William. Your Mummy did the most amazing job when you entered the world. She made everyone in the room beam with pride but no one was as proud as your Daddy. He had tears of pure joy in his eyes when he saw you and his love for you was stronger than anything in this world. You are so loved baby boy xo
