As you all know, we had the privilege of showcasing our photography at their Bridal Open Day. The day was perfect - wonderful weather, breathtaking room setup and the atmosphere from the live band was brilliant.

Jason has had the pleasure of photographing weddings at Australis previously but I was always at a separate wedding so had never been there before , and I was so impressed. Their expansions are so modern, and the room is spacious to cater for all sizes along with the full length verandah. The whole function area has a stylish yet relaxed feel that i think really works for weddings. Paul Allen is the function manager at Australis and he really knows how to make a wedding day special and unique and he is one person definately worth talking with about your day.

We were asked to take some commercial shots for Australis to really showcase the venue. We were lucky they provided us with two female and two male models who were absolutely fantastic and made our job super easy. Isabella Bridal dressed the girls and they looked amazing and the guys were decked out in Yarads Menswear suits. (They looked mighty fine!) The possiblilty for photos is endless as there are so many spots all around Australis. Being right on the beach it’s only natural to use the beach to it’s fullest potential along with the contrast of great landscaping and architecture within the Australis grounds. I was in a photographers dream.

I must say all the professionals that were there with us on the open day are the finest in their field and they were: Manning Florist, Debra Steber - Taree Celebrant (www.tareecelebrant.com.au), Reckless (www.tezzaentertainment.com.au), isabella Bridal, Yarads Menswear and Endota Day Spa.

Endota is the brand new, only just opened day spa at Australis. The ladies were so friendly and helpful and some of the nicest people I have met and after our christmas rush, I will be heading out to experience the spa in full.
