I have held this blog post off for a week so I knew that Leon & Faith would get to see it. I hope you enjoyed your 1st wedding anniversary sailing the seas guys !!

With the new addition to the family, it was time to update the family album. I have had a lot to do with this growing family and it is such a pleasure to watch babies grow. I am doing bubs Year in the Life collection at the moment and he is changing so much every time I see him. I know he will soon be as big as his big brother ! I hope he gets his brothers personality. Jacob is the sweetest little man and you should be so proud of him guys.

Enjoy the blog post. It has finally made an appearance    xo

Every now and again you meet people that really shine. Really make an impact as they are just such beautiful people inside and out. Megan’s beauty struck me as soon as she opened the door. Not only was she a gorgeous bride, her smile radiated. I could tell in a second that she was such warm, caring, loving person before we had even exchanged “hello”. The girls were all fully dressed and were so excited, it is rare to walk in to such calm and organisation. They were just ready to “get the show on the road”.

When I met Adam I knew why they were attracted to each other. They are both warm, caring, loving people. He looked super handsome as well (I can’t always just tell the bride how gorgeous she is :-)  ) They had said to us that we could select their locations and we knew that staying in the Harrington/Crowdy area would give them amazing results. We know that area like the back of our hands and know where to get stunning results and always push for something different every time.

I think you will agree Megan and Adam are gorgeous! Their photos are stunning and I know they will love the results.

Thanksyou guys for such a gorgeous day. You made our jobs so easy and we thank you for your compassion on the day xo

A couple of sneak peeks today for the eager brides from the weekend.

Margot contacted us not to long ago in regards to photographing her wedding. It was going to be a handful of the closest family and friends and something simple but special. They decided the back beach at Crowdy Head was an ideal location as they loved the big flat rocks. That is exactly where they got married as well. A picturesque location for a gorgeous ceremony.

Margot and David are over this way for their annual fishing holiday. They are here with their closest friends and David was telling us before Margot arrived how much be loves his fish. I hope they continued to bite for you David !

Louise & Adam chose their hometown of Coopernook to be married. They planned a ceremony and reception that totally suited them - casual, hassle-free and relaxed. With their closest family and friends with them, they celebrated the beginning of their lives together as husband and wife and also the impending birth of their first child. It’s not long to go now until the little bundle will be here to meet everyone!

Congratulations Louise & Adam.

We had two family portrait xmas special days. One was supposed to be a country setting, the other was a beach day. Luckily the sun was good to us for the beach photos.

One of the families who joined me was the Stone family. I have photographed these kids at preschool or at the studio as individuals but it was about time that we got the whole family together. They live and breathe the beach so it was right in the kids comfort zone. Mum and Dad were also easy going as far as the wet clothes went, so the kids had the freedom to have fun and be themselves.

All round success !!

This was the same day as I took the Murray/Hammond shoot blogged below. The rain decided it would come and ruin my plans. A plan however is only ruined if you let it and I am to stubborn to let that happen. When I called Rochelle to discuss the options for the shoot, she felt the same as me - “it’s only water”

I had the most amazing experience capturing the energy and enjoyment of kids. There was never a moment of “don’t get dirty, brush your hair, get away from the dirt” - all things we say to our kids most of the time.

I highly encourage everyone to let your kids play in the rain and mud next time. Get your camera and take photos of them just doing what makes them happy. Being kids, getting dirty and experiencing the freedom to do whatever they please. After a while, join them. Get out in the rain and mud and you will find out how much fun it is. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and learnt so much !

Thanks guys xo
