Nikole - you are radiantly beautiful. It is so cliche to say that a pregnant woman is glowing, but believe me, you really are. I have never met you until your little one was growing inside, but I am so pleased to have met you now. I had so much fun photographing your belly ….. photographing you. With the craziness of the end of last year, a lot of December babies haven’t made an appearance on the blog yet. This is little Ava who is definately not this tiny anymore but is definately still as adorable.

Meet little Flynn with his very protective big sister Amelia. She loves him, she adores him.

She will be his protector. She will be his teacher. She will guide him in life and no doubt into mischief. She is the perfect big sister and no one could do the job better than her.

Mr Cutie-pie. Mr Handsome. Mr Personality ….. Riley, you are very , very cute and I think you know it just a big bit!

She demonstrated the theory of the six degrees of separation. If she hadn’t of met friend A who introduced her to friend B, who introduced her to friend C who introduced her to  …… you all get my drift …. then she wouldn’t have ended up meeting the man who she now calls her husband.

Some say that we are all destined for the same ending regardless of our path in life. Some say that the are paths are set as to who we will meet in life and we are just the ones undertaking the journey to find out the answers. Who knows if we were always destined to be where we all are now. Who knows what would have happened if one event had of been changed in our lives. Would we have always ended up where we are now regardless of what path we had chosen. Does fate exist?

We know that Chris & Aoife came to be at the same Kaoroke Bar one night. We know that Aoife thought that Chris had super nice eyes. We know that they hit it off after a very long discussion of statistics - these two people are incredibly smart as you might be starting to see! We know that they have a passion for travel and they are perfectly suited and consequently are now husband and wife.

They had found the perfect place to be married. The Green Cathedral won them over for so many reasons. It was a perfect place to them, it has the perfect feel for the wedding and everything would have been perfect except for the weather. On Chris and Aoifes wedding day, it rain non-stop. Seriously, when I say non-stop, I mean it never stopped for even a minute. The rain took away any possibility of getting married at the Green Cathedral but that did not mean we couldn’t take stunning photos in the place they had fallen in love with.

Complete with gumboots and umbrellas, we got the photos that they had dreamed off in torrential rain. The weather is unpredictable but the best thing if it rains on your wedding day, is to just go with it, just like Chris and Aoife did ….

Christopher and Aoife - thank you for being so incredibly awesome and not letting the weather stop your plans. It was a lot of fun playing in the rain and the photos capture your day, exactly how it was. You are an amazing couple filled with so much fun. Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us, we enjoyed it immensely!
