ABOUT US

Jason and Nikki are the creators, designers, photographers and owners. They are the mastermind of Imprint and they are the ones who take the shots.

They created the business, bought the premise and therefore have the vision, the drive and the passion behind what they do. They both strive to take better and better shots, pushing boundaries all the time.

THE STUDIO

After being in Taree Plaza for 17 years, it was time for a change. Soemwhere to expand the photographic opportunities and customise for the clients. Jason and Nikki fell in love with "St Quentin" in Pulteney Street and knew it had to be theirs, buying it when it wasn't on the market.

Number 58, is a beautiful histrical house that has been built since about 1920's. The character of the house is amazing and the detail is all original. The house is a photographers dream and Imprint is lucky to be able to call it home.

The ideal wedding location or portrait setting, the house has been enhanced and Jason and Nikki have personally renovated the inside and out to make it just perfect for photography. Whether it be inside natural light, studio enhanced light or the outdoor scene.

The house is situated on a double block so the backyard is extensive. Perfect for outdoor portraiture there are big plans for this in the near future which will be very exciting.

JASON

I love the art of photography. I like to shoot that dynamic image that is a bit different to the norm. I love photographing weddings. To be a part of a couples day and document their story is very rewarding. I have a photojournalistic approach with is all about candid, natural images that capture the love between a couple.
I am one of our wedding photographers. I also shoot portraits. Families, couples, individuals.
I shoot all our commercial images. Loving the art of photography, I get to use all my creativity in commercial photography.
Capturing the product in a way never seen by the client. Being a graphic designer I "see" the final product in print and media.
I am the album designer. I take the images once enhanced and turn them into a customised album that is unique to every couple.

NIKKI

I totally love what I do. I love the way I capture a shot that is packed with emotion that is cherished forever. I love the tiny babies, I love the hyperactive toddler, I love the beauty of a woman and I love the love between a couple.
I approach all my photography with the goal of capturing emotion. I am the baby and kid photographer. I also am one of the wedding photographers. My style is candid, natural photojournalism.
I am also the photo finisher. I put the finishing touches on our images. I go through all our shots and enhance for printing.
Sometimes I might throw in an effect but generally it is just minor tweaking to take a great shot to a "WOW" shot.
